In many countries Bakery management has not been seen in the same way as the traditional
professions. Like for example, we do not allow a doctor to prescribe medicines or an architect
to design a building unless they have been properly qualified, but yet we have been too ready to
allow people to manage important organizations like food sector without any equivalent training.
Every baker therefore has a responsibility to become as knowledgeable as possible about the
art and science of Baking profession.

to express his talent and workmanship.

However, the average baker is apt to neglect this possibility of training and up gradation and
thereby loses a real business opportunity. The reason is that too many bakers do not know
how to decorate and make the right kind of products or are afraid to attempt it because they
think it is long, tedious task.
How much is the workload for a baker?

induct trained technical manpower, which is easily available from institutions. As mentioned

labor, which are untrained. The sanitary and hygienic conditions under which they operate are
far from satisfactory. There is therefore an urgent need for technical trained staff.
